Spring in the Shade is a hand-painted gouache artwork, painted in Lancashire and inspired by the ferns and iris growing in the shaded areas of my garden. The piece focuses on early spring growth and the quieter parts of the garden as plants begin to emerge.
The artwork is professionally printed onto high-quality paper in the North of England, with strong colour and detail that reflects the original painting. Available in A4 and A3 sizes.
Available sizes:
A4 – 21 × 29.7 cm (standard printer paper size)
A3 – 29.7 × 42 cm (twice the size of A4)
About my paintings:
My paintings are based on the flowers and plants I grow and observe through the seasons. This print is inspired by ferns and iris from my garden and the way spring arrives in shaded spaces.
